As you probably know, the FAA updates every sectional on a rotating 6-month cycle. When you look at all of the sectionals across the country, this means 4 to 6 sectionals are released each month.
When you order a subscription plan, we'll send you the latest editions for your plan area. After that, we'll send you 12 updates every 28 days. Every update will include all of the latest SkySectional charts for your area. If none of the charts in your area are updated in a particular month, we'll "credit" your monthly update so it's not wasted.
You might want to receive your charts as soon as possible...or you might prefer to have them mailed to you on CD. The choice is yours.
To start your subscription, we'll email download links immediately as well get a CD to you in the mail. For updates you can choose delivery via download or opt to have us mail you a CD (only $15 dollars more per year). A mailed CD is a great option if you don't have a high-speed internet connection and downloaded delivery allows you to get the charts significantly faster (usually a couple of days before the effective date) than having to wait for the mail.
As they say, buy in bulk and save. Our subscription plans can save you at least 40%. Compare buying 15 SkySectional charts individually and a 6-month update of each: $239. At $139, Our Western, Central, and Eastern subscription plans save you $100. Compared to $591 for all 37 sectionals, our $239 Lower 48 plan can save you even more and is a great solution if you need charts that cover more than one region.
With our subscription plans, you'll receive the same SkySectional charts that are available for purchase and download through our website--with the convenience of updates that keep you with the most current charts.
